Pastor Lamont Leonard is in his fourth year of service here at NLCC and he has been in full time ministry for over 20 years.
Pastor Leonard majored in Music/Vocal Performance at Azusa Pacific University and received a Doctorate of Ministry from Friends International Christian University. As a part of his mission in life, he conducts diversity workshops and consults for ministries, schools and businesses internationally.Pastor Leonard believes that ministry is every person’s responsibility.
“Our lives are a ministry. The way we smile, laugh or cry is ministry. All that is in our head, our heart and our physical ability, all of it is ministry.”

We then must live to serve others offering them joy, healing and hope. We must serve with compassion, with passion and love without expectation of a return. Ministry is about giving away the best of what we have and what we are, so that everyone who finds us can find their way to an ultimate relationship with God. Our destiny is to serve others the food that we have been served.
